You know, I love to buy electronics, I really do. But each time I buy a computer, a phone, … I don’t want to trash their packages. Cause they’re usually very good looking, but moreover because I feel bad to trash them. I always thought electronics were over packaged. It’s like manufacturers want to justify prices that way. And today I read that article that makes me feel even worst about that. Protected by many plastic layers, those products are usually over protected by packages that are useless and wasteful. This article underlines the fact that those packages are also annoying and dangerous – I kind of agree, sometimes You cut yourself and some crying often happens on the way. But I truly think consumers are expecting this kind of packaging when they’re purchasing an expensive piece of electronic. Anyway, things are changing from what I hear. Some firms are now thinking new ways to package things, by using non plastic packages for instance. Nowadays it is very well seen if You try to save mother nature… I’m pretty sure those firms would also save a lot of money by reducing layers of packages. I’m just saying…
