The long time expected Nexus 2 has finally leaked few days ago: it apparently will be the “Nexus S”. I guess it gonna feature Gingerbread, and it should be available for T-Mo customers. It should have a 1500 mAh battery, a 5 MP camera, … but We still don”t know much about the beast. I’m pretty sure it gonna have a new gen processor under its hood (dual core maybe?) and at least 521 mo of ram (or maybe 1go?), don’t forget that the Nexus One had very high specs when it has been launched. Anyway, this time it is apparently Samsung who gonna build the Google phone, which means that We can expect a Super AMOLED screen. And it will look very much like a Galaxy S, as You can see on this picture.
But N1 users and fans will be disappointed with that new phone, it is a weird move from Google to create a phone that [physically] different from the N1. Hardware wise, it has to be a real improvement to make the difference. Anyway, even if my N1 is getting old and has now a scratched glass over its screen (I will replace it soon), it is still hot and iconic. I’m not sure the NS will be that cool.
