It’s been a while since we haven’t written. Even if we’ve been very busy those last months, I’ve been keeping an eye on the Galaxy SII, the next Samsung Flagship to come. We have to admit that we’re very exited about this phone. It is featuring amazing hardware specifications: its Dual 1.2 Ghz processor (Orion or Tegra), 1 Go of Ram, a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus display, 16 or 32 Go of Rom, coupled with a MicroSD card slot, a 8 MP camera with 1080p video recording capacity, a huge 1650 mAh battery,… a winner for sure.

We’re quite certain Samsung will sell a lot of those, it’s just too bad the company didn’t announce precise release dates regarding elsewhere than UK yet. Anyway, Samsung is doing some buzz, is uploading new ads every week, providing – mostly British - bloggers prototypes and review units, this is understandable…

Why the GSII gonna be a best seller? First because of its legacy. The SGS was a best seller. Second thanks to its amazing specs, no competitor is featuring that many capabilities. It is for instance ready for WiFi direct. Because of its good looking design. Some people may hate it, but that new design is what I was hoping from Samsung: all black, with a big and beautiful display, a super thin body,  … The GSII is also focusing on HD contents, with a very powerful camera and its 1080p recording capacities. With its dual core processor, it will be able to read 1080p content as well. All that with – surely – the most efficient display currently available and a good autonomy thanks to its highly efficient processor, its big battery and that sustainable display.

I guess new devices will hit the market later this year, the Iphone 5 – or whatever its name – of course, which may feature very similar specs as the GSII – Samsung is building the Apple Iphone’s current processors -, but also new devices from HTC – which hasn’t announced anything really convincing for now – or Nokia WP7 future devices. Until then, the GSII will, for sure, be the sexiest and most powerful device on the market. And I highly expect it to remain one of the best phone on the market until next year and the quadcore processors and the new Gen devices.
